Emerson is seeking a Global Manufacturing Operations Testing Engineer to lead validation of manufacturing processes and product quality. You will define test strategies, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and efficiency in a global manufacturing footprint.

The role emphasizes developing production test hardware/software, standardizing test processes, and mentoring technicians while aligning with industry best practices.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
• 5-10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Demonstrated problem-solving expertise.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Programming experience in multiple languages (Delphi, C/C++, VB, Python).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and distinguish colors.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, validate and optimize production test hardware and software.
• End-to-End test strategy ownership from ICT to Functional tests.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes and improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Support new product introductions by validating manufacturing readiness.
• Manage test capacity, expansion planning and execution.
• Maintain test automation, fixtures, and data capture for quality traceability.
• Mentor technicians and drive digitization tools for decision making.
