Job summary

Flex is seeking an Operations Program Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing programs, ensuring production, quality, safety, and cost targets are met. The role focuses on forecast accuracy, cost management, and project timelines aligned with capacity for a customer program.

Based at Flex North, the role reports to the Industrial Sr Director, Global Program Management, and involves driving continuous improvement and effectively coordinating cross-functional teams to maximize customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing operations, production management, program management, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in production operations, including production planning, workforce management, and daily execution.
• Proven experience leading production teams and driving operational performance in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with customers, solving problems, building relationships, and managing escalations.
• Coordinate procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Supervise production staff on work methods and quality checkpoints.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams from initiation to completion in a fast-moving environment.
• Participate in project planning sessions and contribute to timelines and deliverables.
• Present project updates to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Prepare reports or presentations summarizing progress and outcomes.
• Participate in lean initiatives.
