Job summary

DHL Express México, S.A. De C.V. is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to safeguard the company’s legal integrity across Procurement, Fleet, Ground/Air Operations, IT, and Real Estate.

You will manage end-to-end contracts, coordinate litigation and regulatory matters, and assess operational risks to enable continuity. The role requires a law degree with ~5 years in corporate or operations law, strong negotiation skills, and ability to work with external law firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Law with ~5 years in corporate or operations legal functions.
• Strong contract management and negotiation experience with internal partners or suppliers.
• Experience coordinating litigation with external law firms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to articulate legal risks.
• Intermediate English proficiency with solid writing skills.
• Experience in logistics or transportation-related operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and manage operational and commercial contracts.
• Support procurement by reviewing bids, assessing legal risks, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain updated contract templates and playbooks.
• Advise on supplier incidents, disputes, and claims.
• Provide legal guidance during force majeure or service disruptions.
• Coordinate litigation and regulatory matters with external counsel.
• Support HR with labor inspections and conciliatory processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in ground and air operations.
• Manage matters involving fleet, including fines and interactions with authorities.
• Coordinate litigation and administrative proceedings, ensuring follow-up on rulings.
