Job summary

DHL Group's Legal Services in the Americas region seeks a qualified lawyer to ensure the legal integrity of business activities. You will draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements, assess risks, and support regulatory compliance across units.

The role requires a law degree with about 5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and solid English proficiency to operate in a global, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law with approximately 5 years of relevant practice.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
• Experience identifying and mitigating legal and business risks in a corporate setting.
• Experience coordinating with external law firms for disputes and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial, operational, and corporate agreements.
• Advise on risks and provide practical legal guidance for business initiatives and projects.
• Support compliance, regulatory matters, and governance standards across functions.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, guidelines, and playbooks for consistency.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, authorities, and external counsel as required.
• Provide training and awareness on legal risk management within the organization.
• Monitor regulatory developments and propose risk-mitigation actions.
