GEODIS is seeking an experienced General Ledger Manager to lead SSC General Ledger activities across multiple countries. You will ensure the quality of financial information, drive critical closing and reporting activities, and strengthen accounting controls and processes.

Responsibilities include leading monthly closings, managing the closing calendar, reviewing journal entries, and coordinating consolidation reporting.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting with GL focus.
• 5+ years in a GL leadership role with regional or multi-country scope.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS and internal controls.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closures.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics AX/365, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to drive process improvements.
• English required; Portuguese a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing across multiple countries.
• Own the closing calendar, monitor progress and dependencies.
• Review and approve significant journal entries for accuracy.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
• Coordinate monthly financial reporting for consolidation.
• Lead GL team and develop capabilities through coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and audit teams.
