Sanmina is seeking a General Ledger Supervisor to oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting in line with U.S. GAAP.

The role includes supervising a 2–3 person team, assisting with inter-company activities, amortization schedules, and tax reporting while coordinating with plant managers to ensure asset integrity and timely closes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations prepared by the team.
• Assist with amortization schedules and inter-company charges for risk insurance.
• Assist with inter-company loan schedules and journal entries.
• Assist with the preparation of property tax renditions and amortization journal entries.
• Partner with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies.
• Multi-task effectively to meet CAPEX tracking and period-end close deadlines.
• Collaborate with the team and adapt pace as project volumes fluctuate.

The General Ledger Supervisor will review journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Financial Review & Approval: Review and approve journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations prepared by the team.
• Amortization & Insurance: Assist with amortization schedules and inter-company charges for risk insurance.
• Inter-Company Accounting: Assist with inter-company loan schedules and journal entries.
• Tax & Reporting: Assist with the preparation of property tax renditions and amortization journal entries.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Partner directly with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies.
• Time Management: Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet strict CAPEX tracking and period-end close deadlines.
• Adaptability & Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the team while maintaining flexibility to adjust pace as project volumes fluctuate.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of accounting experience (experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus).

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.

Manager Experience:

Supervise a team of 2 to 3 employees.
