Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a dynamic procurement Category Manager to lead our direct food ingredient and packaging categories globally. You will shape category strategies, drive cost, quality, and service improvements, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support business growth.

You will lead RFPs/RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contracts, while building strong supplier relationships to create competitive advantage.

Qualifications

3+ years of procurement category management experience.
Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Professional English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies for food ingredients and indirect spending.
Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support growth.
Lead RFPs, RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
Analyze market trends and cost drivers to minimize total cost of ownership.
Manage strategic sourcing processes from sourcing to performance evaluation.
Build long-term relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation.
Apply SRM techniques to maximize supplier value.
Lead multi-level negotiations with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
