Job summary

The Baker Hughes LEAD Field Engineer Development Program is an accelerated, three-and-a-half-year track for recent engineering graduates to build field engineering skills through classroom training, field experience, mentoring, and hands-on customer operations.

As a LEAD Field Engineer, you'll progress through competency levels, join structured bootcamps, deploy and troubleshoot equipment on live projects, and travel to customer sites worldwide while advancing toward graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering completed within the previous 12 months.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work rotational schedules.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication.
• Strong interest in hands-on technical field work.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured technical bootcamps, on-job training, and competency-based development.
• Execute field operations alongside experienced engineers in live operating environments.
• Deploy, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain technical equipment and services.
• Travel to customer sites and support field crews during critical operations.
• Progress through defined Field Engineer competency levels and milestones.
