Ford of Mexico is seeking a seasoned customs specialist to join our Manufacturing team in GTBC Edo. Mex. You will help review and optimize end-to-end customs processes, ensuring compliance and minimizing shipment risks.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in international trade, 4+ years in customs, and is bilingual (Spanish/English). You will coordinate with brokers, analyze trade regulations, and develop metrics to measure performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar.
• 4+ Years of Experience in the Customs space.
• Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, international trade laws, and import/export processes.
• Experience coordinating custom broker and Customs service providers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven capacity to operate effectively in high‑pressure situations characterized by shifting priorities and evolving business requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Review, map and document end-to-end customs processes.
• Review reports to track shipment status and risks.
• Ensure shipments cross within target timeframes.
• Identify root causes of holds/delays and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up on holds due to customs issues to resolution.
• Develop analytic tools.
• Develop performance metrics.
