Job summary

UPS Mexico is hiring a permanent Customs Entry Specialist to audit and prepare customs entries, apply tariff codes, and coordinate freight for international shipments. You will interact with carriers, overseas offices, importers, and internal teams to ensure compliance and on-time processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of customs operations, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent
• Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations
• Basic computer skills; HS system understanding

Responsibilities

• Preparation of customs entries and forwarding freight to designated locations
• Prepare customs entries and follow-up with the clearance process on all entries prepared
• Communicate documentation discrepancies to client and supervisor
• Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations
• Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues
• Filing entries to customs via GBS-CM in a timely and accurate manner
• Administrative tasks including reports/presentations and data entry
