GE Vernova's Grid Solutions COE seeks a Large Project Civil Work Design Coordinator to lead civil work design packages, including plumbing and cranes, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality targets are met.

You will bridge internal design teams, subcontractors, and customers, integrating with building permits, procurement, and site construction while complying with local and international codes; travel worldwide expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Knowledge in concrete structure calculation, architecture, and geotechnical principles.
• Experience with project technical management processes, particularly in multi-disciplinary, multi-interface environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing externally subcontracted design work packages.
• Proficiency in English; strong technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and work in different locations for short-to-medium periods.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate the CW design team and manage scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Review input data and ensure technical consistency to optimize costs in design phases.
• Implement project strategy, manage changes, update risk assessments, and seek opportunities.
• Support procurement by defining technical specs and reviewing offers.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders, manage comments, and ensure constructability.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality procedures, and NCR handling.
