nVent is seeking a Wireless Engineer to design, implement, and maintain wireless networks across its Cisco-based environment. You will handle network design, hardware/software configuration, security, and performance optimization while supporting SDWAN, switching, and data centers for over 120 global locations.

The role requires 5+ years with Cisco technologies, strong communication, and bilingual proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in wireless platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies.
• Fully bilingual.
• Knowledge of Cisco SDWAN preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement wireless network infrastructures using Cisco technologies.
• Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and access points.
• Provide global support, troubleshooting and routine maintenance for wireless environments.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the wireless network.
• Monitor performance and optimize wireless networks for speed and reliability.
• Create documentation for network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and performance reports.
• Stay current with latest wireless technologies, trends, and security practices.
• Develop custom wireless applications and perform RF analysis; mentor team members.
