This role requires over 5 years of enterprise experience and CCNP certification. Expertise in Cisco environments and strong communication skills are essential. This is a remote position based in Mexico.

Formación

Overview

The Network Engineer is responsible for design, provision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This person is expected to be a subject matter expert managing converged network technologies. Will also input to network architecture to ensure appropriate technology strategy to meet business requirements. This individual should be a highly qualified network with up-to-date hands-on skills. In addition, the ability to interact with distributed engineers, customers, and all levels of senior executive staff.

Remote position

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, Unified Communications, and Security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Act as an escalation point for complex network and UC issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide expert-level network support.
• Maintain documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
• Analyze and monitor network performance and recommend improvements.
• Work with tools like Wireshark, Solarwinds, RTMT, NetMon, etc.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ITSM foundation training required.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise networks or managed service environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco environments; CCNP Enterprise required.
• Experience with collaboration platforms and UC architecture.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, RTP, sRTP, SNMP, Netflow.
• Proficient in troubleshooting with network tools and debuggers.
• MSP or consulting background is a plus.
