Flowserve is seeking a Subject Matter Expert – Castings to provide deep technical and strategic leadership across the casting supply base. You will guide supplier development, evaluate manufacturability, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality cast components aligned with category strategy.

You will serve as the technical authority for casting processes (sand, investment, die, shell, permanent mold, and open/closed forgings), collaborating with engineering and supply teams to mitigate risk while

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supplier development and supplier quality.
• Experience in technical aspects of casting including sand, die, investment, permanent mold casting, and open/closed forgings procurement.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of supplier performance management and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and execution of casting category strategies and long-term sourcing plans.
• Provide technical expertise on casting processes (sand, investment, die, shell, permanent mold, etc.) and manufacturability optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize designs for cost, quality, and performance.
• Conduct market and technology assessments to identify innovations, trends, and supplier risks.
• Lead supplier development initiatives to improve quality, delivery, cost, and capacity performance.
• Build relationships with key and strategic casting suppliers and act as escalation point for issues.
