Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Supplier Manager in Castings to ensure supplier performance in quality, delivery and cost. The role acts as a regional supplier base expert, linking the business with global functions and managing supplier risk.

You will drive improvements, coordinate reviews, and lead data-driven supplier performance discussions across time zones, ensuring compliance with Flowserve policies and procedures.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain or procurement.
• Strong interpersonal relationship management.
• Understanding of commercial and technical supply chain areas.
• Knowledgeable in procurement, sourcing and category management methodologies.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
• Good project management and ability to handle multiple time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Overall account management for assigned suppliers and performance tracking.
• Monitor delivery, quality, competitiveness and drive corrective actions.

• Lead root-cause analysis for systemic performance issues.

• Support supplier warranty and damage claims processing.
• Lead supplier business review meetings and follow-ups.
• Track spend against AVL and Roadmap with Category Management.
• Review supplier performance with PS and Category Management.

Role Summary

The Supplier Manager in Castings is accountable for ensuring satisfactory performance and risk management of goods and services to Flowserve from their assigned suppliers. The overall focus of the role is to ensure for the identified suppliers within their assigned portfolio to manage, that the suppliers are performing to the required levels in terms of Quality, Delivery, Risk and Competitiveness whilst ensure the overall account is executed with as minimally desired risk as possible. The role holder is also required to act as an overall supplier base expert within their defined region to support the business and be an identified conduit between the business and the global function.

Responsibilities

• Overall account management for the assigned suppliers, including:
• Monitoring supplier performance, particularly around competitiveness, delivery and quality, and implementation of appropriate corrective actions when performance is less than acceptable.
• Monitor of supplier health and overall risk, including capacity and financial solvency etc, and both
• Advise appropriate internal action to take as well as work with supplier on mitigating action whenever deemed necessary.
• Facilitate supplier root cause correction action whenever required to address systemic issues on performance.
• Coordinate with supplier any escalations and risks as raised through the appropriate escalation channels.
• Collection of required data per reporting/regulatory filing needs.
• Support the business for of any supplier claims associated with warranty, damages etc.
• Prepare, chair and ensure follow up to actions/MOM periodic supplier business review meetings.
• Monitor supplier(s) spend against AVL and Roadmap set by Category Management
• Periodic review with Supplier Performance Group and Category Management group on the supplier performance report out
• Operate in full compliance to all Flowserve Policies & Procedures as applicable to the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / procurement
• Strong interpersonal relationship management
• Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
• Expertise in MS Office tools, Power BI
• Strong analytical skills which involve collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
• Ability to influence, communicate and collaborate at all organizational levels
• Solid understanding of procurement, sourcing and category management methodologies
• Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure across different time zones a plus
• Strong interpersonal relationship management
• Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
• Very good commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Knowledgeable in procurement of the following group of items:
  • Castings and Foundries
  • Forged products
  • Machining

• Metallurgical Engineering or related
• Certified Supply Chain Professional
• Geographically mobile for development opportunities
