Job summary
Stanley Black & Decker in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer / Global Capital Engineer to join our on-site Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. You’ll develop and implement automated equipment for new power tools and battery products, ensuring readiness, capacity, and cost targets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline required.
- 3+ years in manufacturing project development, power tools and Li‑ion battery familiarity preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency for global collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, ROI, Lean, automation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated manufacturing equipment for new products, ensuring readiness and capacity.
- Resolve manufacturing issues with integrated engineering solutions and cost-saving initiatives.
- Improve processes through automation, Lean manufacturing and low-cost automation.
- Evaluate new technologies to improve productivity, quality, safety and process performance.
- Coordinate equipment transfers, upgrades, and installation between global sites.
- Participate in DFMEA, DFM, process design, Poka-Yoke and control systems.
