LEGO Group in Mexico is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join the established BSO team supporting the Americas and global operations. You will process invoices, verify payments and maintain vendor records in line with LEGO procedures.

Key responsibilities include month-end close support, reporting, and ensuring accuracy and timely payment processing. The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Experience in Procure to Pay functions.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills and strong numerical capability.
• SAP knowledge preferred, or experience with another ERP.

Responsabilidades

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting vendors.
• Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.
