Job summary

inDrive is seeking an Accountant to join the Global Financial Reporting, Accounting and Tax team in Mexico. You will manage local entity records and reconciliations, coordinate with tax partners, and own cash, bank, and expense reconciliations in NetSuite.

You will also manage employee accounts, use Yokoy for expense processing, and act as a Financial Controller for smaller international entities under US GAAP, contributing to audit readiness and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3–5 years of accounting or financial control experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite and expense tools is a plus.
• Fluent English (B2+) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting records for local entities per group policies and local GAAP.
• Coordinate with local accounting and tax outsourcing for filings and compliance.
• Own cash and bank reconciliations; ensure daily/monthly accuracy in NetSuite.
• Manage end-to-end employee accounts, AR reconciliations, advances, and reimbursements.
• Own the Yokoy expense system, integrating expenses into the GL.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L in NetSuite regularly.
• Record and review transactions: expenses, journals, deposits, payroll, revenue recognition.
• Serve as Financial Controller for smaller international entities under US GAAP/audit.
• Support audit processes and provide documentation; respond to queries.
• Help improve accounting processes and internal controls across entities.
