Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for its virtual restaurant operations. This fully remote role oversees multiple ghost kitchens and delivery-only concepts, driving efficiency, quality, and exceptional service in a fast-paced tech-enabled environment.

You will lead a remote team of kitchen staff, enforce safety and quality standards, manage inventories and cost controls, and partner with platforms to optimize orders and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in restaurant management or food service operations, delivery or virtual kitchens.
• Experience managing multiple locations or units remotely.
• Strong leadership and remote team management skills.
• Deep knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
• Experience with technology platforms used in food delivery industry.

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing innovator in the food delivery space, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their virtual restaurant operations. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple ghost kitchens and delivery-only food concepts, ensuring seamless operations, high-quality food production, and exceptional delivery service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food service operations, and a proven ability to manage a remote team effectively. You will drive efficiency, implement best practices, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of multiple virtual restaurant kitchens, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Manage and motivate remote kitchen staff, including chefs and kitchen assistants.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (e.g., HACCP).
