BMW Group in San Luis Potosí, Mexico is seeking a General Ledger Accounting Coordinator to monitor and operate GL processes and lead monthly reporting in line with IFRS, local GAAP and BMW Group standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Public Accounting, 5+ years in GL accounting, strong knowledge of SAP, and fluent business English to communicate with management and cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, related reporting and financial audit.
• Knowledge in Accounting, specifically general ledger and reporting (preferably automotive industry) – at least any production plant.
• Knowledge of internal & external audit procedures, accounting standards.
• Capability to prepare and present understandable (based on target audience) management reports to associates, Technology Directors when required.
• Knowledge of SAP system.
• Fluent business English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and operate General Ledger processes.
• Responsible for Balance Sheet and P&L and for Corporate Reporting and Accounting according to IFRS, local GAAP and BMW Group internal requirements, prepare and steer monthly reporting.
• Responsible for correct implementation of projects regarding the assigned area of accountability.
• Constant Ad-hoc requests for financial data and impact on Plant San Luis Potosi.
• Analyze and report to Management results (Internal & External).
• Manages adherence to deadlines for closing activities, financial reporting, budget /forecast planning and audit preparation.
