W is seeking an experienced accounting professional to prepare and review financial statements and manage general ledger activities in Mexico. The role supports month-end close, ensures policy compliance, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial data.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in accounting, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, advanced Excel, and ERP experience (Epicor). Payroll knowledge and Canadian accounting familiarity are pluses.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a strong plus).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Payroll experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Canadian Accounting Principles a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and adjustments.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain compliance accounting policies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Support optimization of financial systems and tools.
