SEGULA Technologies in Toluca is seeking a Jr. Design & Release Engineer (DRE) specializing in Front Structure Closures to support design, packaging, and release of hood assemblies and front‑end structural interfaces.

This hybrid role involves managing component lifecycles for front closures and coordinating with senior engineers, CAE, manufacturing, and Tier‑1 suppliers. In this role you will apply basic GD&T, assist in DFMA verification, and support prototypes, vehicle assembly trials,

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Aeronautical engineering.
1-3 years CAD design, product development, or engineering validation in automotive OEM/Tier-1.
Experience with front-end closures, hoods, hinges, and crash-pedestrian interfaces.
Proficiency with Siemens NX/CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE and PLM environments.

Responsabilidades

CAD modeling, packaging studies, and clearance checks for front closure assemblies.
Assist in DCN/ECN creation, BOM updates, and revision control.
Work on interface between hood and fixed front-end structural members.
Apply GD&T, perform tolerance stack-ups, and support DFMEA updates.
Support prototype builds, CAE validation, and testing feedback.
Collaborate with Stamping, Tooling, BIW Assembly and Quality teams.
