Crown Holdings, Inc. busca un Mecánico de Formación Front End para asegurar la operación y mantenimiento de sistemas front-end de vehículos y mantener estándares de seguridad. El rol implica diagnóstico, reparación y alineación de componentes de dirección y suspensión, con atención a la calidad y satisfacción del cliente.

Formación

• Carrera técnica en mecánica automotriz o equivalente.
• Experiencia en mecánica automotriz o Front End Mechanic.
• Capacidad para interpretar manuales y diagramas técnicos.
• Licencia de conducir válida.

Responsabilidades

• Inspeccionar componentes de la parte frontal del vehículo.
• Diagnosticar fallas con herramientas especializadas.
• Reparar o reemplazar componentes de la suspensión y dirección.
• Realizar alineaciones de ruedas con equipo de precisión.
• Rotar y balancear neumáticos y hacer reparaciones necesarias.
• Documentar hallazgos y piezas utilizadas con precisión.
• Cumplir con protocolos de seguridad y procedimientos.
• Comunicar recomendaciones de reparación al asesor de servicio.
• Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada.
• Mantenerse actualizado en tecnologías y técnicas de reparación.

Job Summary

The Front End Mechanic at Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicle front-end systems, including steering, suspension, and wheel alignment, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicle front-end components, including suspension, steering linkage, ball joints, control arms, and shock absorbers.
• Diagnose mechanical and alignment issues using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Execute repairs and replacements of worn or damaged front-end components, such as tie rods, bearings, bushings, and springs.
• Conduct wheel alignments using precision equipment to ensure correct camber, caster, and toe settings.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as needed.
• Document all inspection findings, repairs performed, and parts used accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures during vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated on new vehicle technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive mechanics is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or similar automotive technician role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle front-end systems, including steering, suspension, and wheel alignment principles.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, alignment equipment, and general automotive repair tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification in Steering and Suspension (A4) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
