Crown Holdings, Inc. busca un Mecánico de Decorado para asegurar la operación y mantenimiento de las máquinas de decoración y acabado en la planta.

Se requieren cambios de diseño siguiendo estándares y un enfoque en seguridad y mejora continua. Se valorará experiencia en maquinaria decorativa (serigrafía, tampografía y recubrimientos) y capacidad de trabajo en equipo.

Formación

• Carrera técnica en mecánica automotriz, industrial, eléctrica o similar
• Sentido de responsabilidad y compromiso con producción
• Interés en producción y manufactura

Responsabilidades

• Realizar mantenimiento preventivo de maquinaria de decorado (prensas, rociadores, hornos, equipos de etiquetado)
• Diagnosticar y solucionar fallas mecánicas, neumáticas e hidráulas
• Ejecutar reparaciones, cambios y ajustes de componentes para operación eficiente
• Cambiar configuraciones de equipo conforme a programación de producción
• Colaborar con equipos de producción para resolver ineficiencias
• Documentar mantenimientos, reparaciones y refacciones
• Cumplir protocolos de seguridad y Lockout/Tagout
• Mantener área de trabajo limpia y organizada
• Participar en capacitación de operadores y mejoras de desempeño

Asegurar la operación del proceso de decorado, cambios de diseño con base a los estándares, procedimientos, controles y políticas establecidas por Crown bajo un proceso de mejora continua minimizando tiempos, optimizando materiales y dando soporte a los mecánicos líderes para el logro de las metas establecidas en los indicadores operativos, el crecimiento, permanencia y rentabilidad del negocio, asegurando el cumplimiento de las necesidades de nuestros clientes.

Job Summary

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal functioning of machinery and equipment used in the decoration and finishing processes within the manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on deco machinery, including but not limited to presses, sprayers, ovens, and labeling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in deco equipment.
• Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments of machine components to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
• Conduct equipment changeovers and setups according to production schedules and specifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies related to machinery.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately and completely.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in the training of production operators on basic machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and reliability.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical degree in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience with decorative machinery (e.g., silk screen, pad printing, spray coating equipment) is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
