Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic Workshop Appliances and Tooling to maintain, repair, and optimize workshop machinery, equipment, and tooling. This role ensures continuous operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing facilities in Toluca.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in an industrial workshop, with strong machining, welding, and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Formación

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing workshop environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong machining (turning, milling), welding (MIG, TIG), and precise measurement skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for industrial machinery.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on workshop machinery and tools.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions using schematics and manuals.
  • Execute repairs, overhauls, and part replacements for all equipment.
  • Fabricate or modify parts using machining and welding techniques.
  • Calibrate and test tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts used.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and LOTO procedures.
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Responsabilidades

Asegurar que todo el herramental que se instala en las máquinas cumpla con las especificaciones establecidas con base a los requerimientos de operación, políticas y procedimientos definidos para asegurar la continuidad del proceso productivo.

Requisitos

INDISPENSABLE Carrera Técnica en Maquinas y Herramientas Mecánica Automotriz, Industrial, Eléctrica o carrera a fin.

Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a skilled Mechanic Workshop Appliances and Tooling to maintain, repair, and optimize a wide range of workshop machinery, equipment, and specialized tools. This role ensures the continuous operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing and maintenance facilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on various workshop appliances including, but not limited to, lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, welding equipment, presses, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in workshop machinery and tools using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or defective parts, components, and assemblies for all workshop equipment.
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various machining and welding techniques.
  • Conduct calibration and testing of tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including LOTO procedures, while performing duties.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new workshop machinery and equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to workshop personnel regarding equipment operation and minor troubleshooting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains related to workshop tooling and equipment.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical, industrial, or electromechanical maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic or technician in an industrial or manufacturing workshop environment.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong practical skills in machining (turning, milling), welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), and precision measurement.
  • Familiarity with various hand and power tools, as well as specialized diagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial machinery and workshop operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various industrial environments.
