DiDi Global Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Fraud Operations Specialist to join our risk team. You will manage transaction alerts, contact cardholders to confirm information, and resolve authorization issues while maintaining a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in fraud prevention, at least 3 years in transaction risk, and is fluent in English and Spanish. You will collaborate with investigations, strategy, and customer service to refine detection rules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science / Programming, Finance, Forensics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in fraud detection and/or transaction risk management.
• Experience in transaction risk management for savings, credit and/or debit card transactions.
• Solid understanding of synthetic fraud and modern fraud prevention strategies.
• Experience working with large datasets to identify fraud patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Investigate fraud patterns for suspicious accounts.
• Conduct thorough investigation of mule accounts.
• Analyze SPEI transactions to identify risky patterns.
• Contact customers to verify potentially suspicious transactions.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Assess legitimacy of high-risk transactions using alerts.
• Provide prompt solutions to resolve blocking issues while protecting accounts.
• Document interactions and actions in the system for audit trails.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex fraud cases.
• Analyze fraud trends to improve prevention procedures.
• Mitigate losses by reducing false positives and improving rules.
• Review false positives with investigation, strategy and customer service teams.
