TransPerfect Games is seeking freelance novice game testers to support our clients by testing upcoming titles across indie to AAA projects in Mexico City. You will execute test cases, document issues, and communicate findings clearly to developers.

This onsite role requires working hours Monday–Friday and the right to work in Mexico. You’ll join a dynamic team focused on quality, learning, and delivering reliable feedback to improve gameplay and stability.

Responsabilidades

• Execute test plans and cases, suggest improvements.
• Deliver needed documentation.
• Learn to cover and own product areas.
• Use test tools and automation.
• Analyze test results with Test Engineers or Lead.
• Find and report bugs including crash dumps, call stacks, and video capture.
• Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product.
• Utilize black box and grey box testing techniques.
• Proactively look for gaps in test coverage.

TransPerfect Games is looking for freelance novice game testers to join us to provide client support on challenging test problems in a dynamic and exciting environment. You will be testing the next big hit game from small independent development teams all the way to AAA game titles from industry heavyweights!

Important information:

• This position is on a mandate contract.
• As a mandatory requirement, you must have the right to work in Mexico.
• This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon – Fri, 8 hours per day) at our office in Mexico City. So you shall be based in the Mexico City area or you are within commuting distance to our office.

Primary responsibilities:

• Execute test plans and cases, suggest improvements
• Deliver needed documentation
• Learn to cover and own product areas
• Use test tools and automation
• Analyze test results with Test Engineers or Lead
• Find and report bugs including crash dumps, call stacks, and video capture
• Use knowledge of user needs and competing games to influence the client’s product
• Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
• Utilize black box and grey box testing techniques
• Effectively communicate and report feature quality and state
• Proactively look for gaps in test coverage
• Perform basic configuration and setup tasks on PC, Game consoles or mobile phones
• Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance

Bonus:

• Game Testing experience
• Experience with Security testing/ fuzzing tools
• Experience with Performance/Stress testing tools and methodologies
• Experience with Accessibility testing
• Experience with Certification Testing and/or Lot Checks
• Experience with testing tools like fiddler, netmon, etc.
• Experience with bug tracking systems like ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Experience shipping any software products or certificates in games testing, design, engineering, etc.
