Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Video Game Tester for Lionbridge Games. You will follow test scripts, play through features, and work with mentors to ensure quality before launch.

The role requires up to 6 months of testing experience, fluent English, and a strong passion for gaming. You will collaborate with a team, log bugs, and help refine testing strategies while gaining growth opportunities.

Formación

• 0-6 months in game testing or similar role.
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken).
• Passion for gaming and deep knowledge of various genres.
• Familiarity with different gaming platforms and their nuances.
• Team player thriving in a collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Execute test cases following the quest line with guidance from a mentor.
• Identify issues by exploring and logging bugs in the database.
• Document bugs clearly to help squash issues before launch.
• Perform regression testing to ensure bugs are truly fixed.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve game quality.
• Playtest across the game’s lifecycle to ensure readiness for release.
• Update QA test cases as testing strategies evolve.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge of testing processes and gaming hardware.
