TransPerfect in Mexico City seeks an experienced QA Manager for the game industry to lead the QA Testing Production team and support sales with customers. You will set strategic QA goals and ensure project success across multiple titles.

You will train staff, optimize QA processes, and build strong relationships with clients while monitoring milestones, budgets, and quality standards. The role requires deep industry knowledge and a collaborative, customer‑facing approach.

Formación

• 10+ years in QA testing in video games.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and direction to the QA team, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Set goals, define strategies, and establish quality assurance processes to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate with project managers, development teams, and customers to understand project requirements and establish appropriate testing plans.
• Monitor the progress of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Create, modify, and adjust structural systems within groups strategically to benefit the business, ensure client satisfaction, and utilize personnel in the best possible ways.
• Oversee the selection, training, and development of QA staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, feedback, and reporting.
• Continuously assess and improve the QA department's performance, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and QA best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Consult with Sales team members on a regular basis to solicit and implement feedback, and institute plans to gain new business, and develop and safeguard existing business.
• Monitor internal/external costs and engage in cost-saving initiatives.
• Achieve and maintain gross margin, revenue, and profitability goals for the dedicated groups and projects.
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.
