Amazon MXCF Operations is hiring an Area Manager for a new Inbound Cross Dock IXD in Mexico. You will lead hourly teams, drive efficiency improvements, and manage safety, quality, and delivery standards across shifts.

Formación

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience in oral and written communication in English.
• Bachelor's degree

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple departments of hourly associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Drive strategic initiatives and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency across multiple areas/shifts.
• Analyze complex data and metrics to identify trends, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement projects that impact multiple departments.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promise at a broader scope while ensuring standardization across operations.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop and execute long-term strategies.
• Create and maintain performance management tools to drive accountability.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud.
• Work in an environment subject to variable temperatures and weather.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs.
