Sanmina is seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant to oversee full-cycle fixed asset transactions, including capitalization, transfers, and retirements, in alignment with GAAP and company policy. The role requires collaboration with plant and project contacts to ensure accuracy of CAPEX spending and asset status.

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, maintaining asset roll-forwards, and reconciling balance sheet accounts, with emphasis on timely period-end close and cross-functional

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Understanding GAAP standards.

Responsabilidades

• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare journal entries, maintain fixed asset roll-forwards, reconcile balance sheet accounts in GAAP compliance.
• CAPEX Management: Review and approve capital expenditure requests.
• Asset Lifecycle Processing: Capitalization, transfers, disposals, retirements.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status.
