Job summary

Clorox Company is seeking a Senior Fixed Assets Accounting leader to manage domestic and LATAM fixed assets, ensuring capitalization accuracy and compliance with corporate policy. You will lead a team of three and drive close processes, asset analytics, and improvements.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, external auditors, and Consolidations. Strong English, ERP experience, and GAAP knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in accounting/finance (public accounting + private industry preferred)
• Advanced English level (Mandatory)
• Strong people management experience
• Strong attention to detail resulting in reliable, accurate work
• Strong planning and organization skills with ability to prioritize
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to improve processes
• Lead cross-functional projects in a team environment
• Solid knowledge of accounting policies, US GAAP and financial statements
• SAP S4 Hana or other ERP experience preferred; proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and BI

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed asset processes for Domestic Product Supply and LATAM, supervising three direct reports
• Perform monthly close activities: capitalizations review, Capex IO settlement, depreciation, reserves journals, GL reconciliations
• Conduct quarterly close: Fixed Assets roll forward and analytics; support Consolidations Accounting for cash flow related to PP&E
• Deliver quarterly and annual Fixed Assets PBC requests and support auditors
• Coordinate annual physical inventory for Domestic and LATAM; manage asset retirement obligations per policies
• Identify and implement efficiencies in Fixed Asset accounting through special projects
