Job summary

BMW Group’s Controlling & Reporting Trainee program offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across Finance, Accounting, Sales, Risk, Treasury, Insurance, Operations and IT. You will assist in month-end closings, prepare management reports, and help implement new analytical tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Up to 2 years in Finance, Controlling, Reporting or Financial Services desirable.
Advanced Excel skills and data-handling capabilities.
Knowledge of databases and analytics tools (Access or SAS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support short- and long-term financial planning for operating expenses and performance management.
Analyze budget deviations and suggest corrective actions.
Monitor budget governance through purchases, invoices and expense allocations.
Assist month-end closing activities and reporting processes.
Prepare management presentations, OPEX analyses, and monthly reports for reviews.
