Global Payments in Mexico City is hiring an Accountant to drive month-end close, reconcile balances, and support intercompany accounting across entities. The role emphasizes accurate reporting, strong controls, and cross-team collaboration.

You will deliver analyses, support audits, and work with teams to improve processes. A bachelor's degree and up to two years' experience are expected, with solid Excel skills and GAAP knowledge.

• Familiarity with GAAP and its application in business accounting.

Responsabilidades

• Drive accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Own balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
• Lead intercompany accounting and eliminations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and expense insights to enable informed decisions.
• Support audits with clear documentation and reliable audit trails.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
