Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service System Administrator to implement, commission, and maintain I&C systems on site at industrial facilities in Veracruz.
You will manage T3000 application servers, industrial networks, and security measures, travel extensively, and collaborate with on-site teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.
The role requires strong control engineering knowledge, autonomous problem solving, and adherence to EHS and quality management protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or equivalent in control/instrumentation fields.
Responsibilities
- Commission and test I&C systems to ensure readiness.
- Software/hardware updates including patches.
- System backups and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime.
- Optimize control sequences for reliability.
- Administer T3000 Application Servers.
- Manage industrial network infrastructure (switches/routers/firewalls).
- Configure bus architectures (Terminal/Plant Bus).
- Use HMI/diagnostic tools to monitor network health.
- Define and manage access permissions.
- Implement and maintain plant security concepts.
- Deploy antivirus and patches across I&C landscapes.
- Ensure compliance with EHS/QMS protocols.
- Support OPC Classic/UA data transfers.
