HQ Platinum is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and service laser cutting machinery at customer sites across Mexico with international travel to the USA and Canada. You will diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues, interpret schematics, and support customers during startups and service calls.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of field service engineering experience.
• Experience with laser cutting machinery preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; fluent English.

Our client is a global company specialized in industrial machinery and laser cutting systems for the metalworking industry. They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support, installation, and maintenance of advanced laser cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of laser cutting machines at customer facilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
• Troubleshoot PLC and CNC systems
• Provide technical support and follow-up with customers
• Interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Support customers during equipment startup and service calls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
• 3–5+ years of experience in field service engineering
• Experience with laser cutting machinery preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Advanced English
