HQP - Human Quality is seeking a Field Service Supervisor for laser cutting machinery. The role involves leading field service activities, supervising technical teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery for advanced laser equipment.

The candidate should have 5+ years in field service, supervision experience, and strong PLC/CNC diagnostics skills, with advanced English and willingness to travel across Mexico and the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in field service, preferably in industrial machinery.
• Experience supervising technical teams is preferred.
• Advanced English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and commissioning of laser cutting machines at customer sites.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lead troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Guide PLC and CNC systems diagnostics.
• Supervise field service engineers and technicians during service operations.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.
• Act as main customer contact during service interventions.
• Monitor service performance and report on tickets.

Field Service Engineer – Laser Cutting Machines Location: Apodaca, Nl: (Travel Required) México

Our client is a global company specialized in industrial machinery and laser cutting systems for the metalworking industry. They are currently seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead field service activities, supervise technical teams, and ensure high-quality service delivery for advanced laser cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and commissioning of laser cutting machines at customer facilities
• Coordinate and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Lead troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
• Provide guidance and support on PLC and CNC systems diagnostics
• Supervise field service engineers and technicians during service operations
• Ensure compliance with service standards, safety protocols, and quality guidelines
• Act as main point of contact for customers during service interventions
• Monitor service performance, reporting, and follow-up on service tickets
• Support team development, training, and technical coaching
• Interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in:

• 5+ years of experience in field service, preferably in industrial machinery
• Previous experience supervising or leading technical teams
• Experience with laser cutting machinery preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
