Gowan Company in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, seeks a Full-time Agronomist/Technical Sales professional to lead field demonstrations, calibration, and product positioning. You will work under the Technical Manager, conducting demo plots, training sessions, and client visits to drive demand and market presence.

The role emphasizes strong agronomic knowledge, fieldwork (80–90%), and effective communication with distributors, growers, and farm managers.

Formación

• 3–5 years in a similar position.
• Technical knowledge: MS Office, Outlook, statistics and agronomic background.
• Knowledge of the territory and relationships with distributors, sales reps, farm managers and growers.
• Excellent service orientation, initiative, communication, organization and ethics.
• Knowledge of potato, ornamental, corn, melon, vegetable crops.

Responsabilidades

• Calibrate and apply techniques and specialty products.
• Generate demand through technical support and field demonstrations.
• Conduct field visits, demo plots, talks, and distributor support.
• Prepare Demo Plot reports and share results.
• Develop and position new materials or products of interest.
• Deliver training on calibration, herbicides, insecticides, IPM and related topics.
• Understand territory and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Provide market information to Marketing.
• Safeguard products by handling claims and documenting requests.
• Prepare monthly activity plan and results summary.
• Build relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Conduct ongoing market analyses and nurture field visits with clients.
• Explore new areas and potential niches.
