North American Production Sharing, Inc. is hiring for an Operational Procurement – Factory Buyer role in Juárez, Mexico. You will consolidate material needs, issue purchase orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability for production.

You will monitor deliveries, push for pull-in when early needs arise, and update SAP master data while collaborating with internal teams and customers to optimize the supply chain. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience in operational procurement or project-driven industry.
• Experience in teamwork, especially in interdisciplinary teams (development, production, quality, logistics)
• High-level organizational skills - you know how to set priorities, manage time and multi-task
• Excellent communication skills with internal teams and with suppliers/customers
• Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
• Good knowledge of SAP in procurement and inventory management and MS Office proficiency
• Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written

Responsabilidades

• Consolidate needs for assigned components and issue purchase orders to ensure timely availability and optimal stocks.
• Update commercial conditions, select alternative suppliers, and follow project procurement deadlines with Customer Buyers.
• Monitor material availability and minimize delivery delays with suppliers and PPS.
• Accelerate deliveries (pull-in) for early needs and manage order changes due to production shifts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain and participate in automation initiatives (VSA, EDI).
• Maintain accurate SAP master data for components, including pricing, terms, packaging and safety stock.
• Collaborate with planners, strategic and customer buyers, SQE and suppliers to ensure efficient procurement.

Operational Procurement – Factory Buyer (m/f)

What will you do?

• For assigned components and materials, you consolidate needs and issue purchase orders, ensuring timely availability and optimal stocks. You update commercial conditions, conduct the selection of alternative suppliers and follow the given project procurement deadlines in cooperation with Customer Buyers.
• You control the availability of materials, actively monitor and minimize delays in deliveries through close cooperation with suppliers and the internal PPS department.
• You accelerate deliveries in case of earlier needs (pull-in), manage order changes due to production shifts or order cancellations and update statuses in SAP (SCX).
• You support continuous improvement of the supply chain - you propose procurement optimization, actively provide suggestions for improvement to strategic procurement and participate in automated inventory renewal initiatives (VSA, EDI, etc.).
• You maintain accurate and up-to-date master data in SAP for all assigned components - including pricing, commercial terms, packaging and safety stock.
• You collaborate with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization - including planners, strategic and customer buyers, SQE and suppliers, with the aim of ensuring efficient and secure procurement.
