ABB is seeking a Real Estate Specialist in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. The role focuses on owning a defined area within Real Estate, improving efficiency, performance, and cost-effective service delivery, and supporting system implementations.

You will work on-site with responsibilities including process optimization, data maintenance, and coordination with suppliers and internal teams to meet group guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar facilities specialist role.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating contractors.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in defining, implementing, and optimizing processes for the Real Estate function in the area.
• Support development and deployment of real estate programs and initiatives.
• Maintain ABB property databases and related records accurately and up-to-date.
• Assist in special real estate initiatives and cost control within the area of responsibility.

This position reports to:

Real Estate Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a tenured member of the Real Estate function in the given geography/specialized area who owns a specific area of responsibility/topic within the function. Each day, you will improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effective service delivery, by analyzing and proposing the plan of actions for the function. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the systems implementation/upgrade in your area of functional responsibility.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Participating in defining, implementing, and continuously optimizing processes, procedures, and action plans for improvement, within area of functional responsibility, in alignment with the group guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Recommending, developing, and assisting in the implementation of special programs, in your area of functional specialty.
• Providing support for special real estate initiatives.
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance of ABB owned/leased/rented property databases and other relevant records.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, automation, robotics, mechanical, or a similar engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in similar roles as a facilities specialist.
• Experience in supervisory roles, including the management of teams.
• Building maintenance, coordination with suppliers/contractors, and liaison/reporting to the Real Estate department.
• Knowledge of facility-related regulations and government permitting processes.
• Proficiency in discussing technical aspects across various facility disciplines, including electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing/hydraulics, mechanical systems, compressors, electrical substations, utilities, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (using AutoCAD).
• Experience with industrial safety protocols (LOTO, working at heights, confined spaces, handling of gases, etc.).
• Experience in budget management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 50001 standards; experience with corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Intermediate level of English proficiency.
