Molex GDL is seeking a Facilities Engineer to design, develop, and implement infrastructure projects that deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions aligned with organizational requirements. You will support space planning, building systems design, and the execution of facility projects from concept through commissioning.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive facility expansion, renovation, and infrastructure

Formación

• Experience designing and developing industrial facilities projects.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and electromechanical drawings.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Create building, production area, warehouse, office, and support-service layouts.
• Design and coordinate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, sanitary, and HVAC systems.
• Perform capacity calculations, space utilization assessments, and infrastructure planning activities.
• Prepare engineering documentation, technical specifications, and scopes of work.
• Lead facility expansion, renovation, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Define project budgets (CAPEX), schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout project execution.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and project startup activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Support risk assessments, design safety reviews, permitting activities, and regulatory compliance requirements.
