Formación

Facilities Engineer – Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Engineer role is responsible for applying engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.

Typical Responsibilities

• Ensure effective electricity generation and management within the facility.
• Oversee co-generation systems, including maintenance, operation, and supervision of personnel.
• Manage and coordinate maintenance requests and operational requirements for co-generation facilities.
• Interpret and analyze single-line diagrams to assess electrical configurations and systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge in mechanical installations, electromechanical engineering, and energy engineering.
• Supervise a team to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Use computer‑assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electromechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Jr or mid‑level experience in a similar role as a facilities engineer with an energy focus.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and generation processes.
• Experience with mechanical installations and facility management.
• Cogeneration experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, 2D/3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Availability to travel (10% per year).
• Experience as a project engineer and in dealing with suppliers.
