Flex is seeking a Facilities Engineer (HVAC Expert) to join the team at Guadalajara, North Site, Mexico. The role involves researching facility equipment specifications and defining feasible designs that align with existing manufacturing capabilities.

You will guide projects, apply CAE tools, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams while leveraging advanced English and a degree in engineering. Flex emphasizes growth, inclusion, and delivering innovative industrial facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Advanced English proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Research facility products or equipment specifications to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing facilities and methods
• Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, space, time, and other factors
• Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations
• Compiles and researches facilities data to establish performance standards for equipment
• Studies engineering publications to stay abreast of industry changes
• Uses computer aided engineering and design software to perform tasks
• Guides projects and project teams

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Facilities Engineer (HVAC Expert). The Facilities Engineer (HVAC Expert) will be based on Guadalajara, North Site, Mexico.

Typical day

• Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
• Research engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
• Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.
• Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
• Compiles and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
• Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Guides projects and project teams.
