Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking a Facilities Engineer (HVAC Expert) based at the Guadalajara, North Site, Mexico. The role focuses on designing, improving, and maintaining facility systems including clean rooms, cooling, water, and gas systems to support manufacturing.

You will research specifications, assess design feasibility, and guide projects with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.

Formación

• Advanced English required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsabilidades

• Research facility products or equipment specifications to define designs for existing manufacturing facilities.
• Define feasibility of new plant equipment considering costs, space, and time limitations.
• Provide technical facilities information impacting manufacturing planning and processes.
• Compile and research data to establish performance standards for equipment.
• Study technical publications to stay current with industry changes.
• Use computer aided design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Guide projects and project teams.

Educación

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Facilities Engineer (HVAC Expert). The Facilities Engineer (HVAC Expert) will be based on Guadalajara, North Site, Mexico.

What a typical day looks like:

Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. Research engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design. Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors. Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning. Compiles and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment. Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Guides projects and project teams.

Matter Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• clean rooms


• Walk-in Coolers & Freezers


• RO/DI Water systems


• Waste Neutralization


• Compressed gas distribution systems


• vacuum systems


• Process chillers and non-clean

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Advanced English


• Requires a Bachelor´s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience


• Experience in the manufacturing industry
