Flex is seeking a Building Facilities Engineer to join the Guadalajara North Site, Mexico. You will research and design facility equipment, assess feasibility and costs, and guide project teams to ensure optimal performance and compliance with long-range plant plans.

The role requires an Electromechanical or Energy Engineering background and at least manufacturing industry experience, with English at an intermediate level. We offer diverse benefits and opportunities for growth at Flex.

Formación

• BA/BS in Electromechanical or Energy Engineering.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsabilidades

• Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing facilities.
• Research engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
• Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.
• Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
• Compiles and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
• Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Guides projects and project teams.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Building Facilities Engineer. The Building Facilities Engineer will be based on Guadalajara North Site, Mexico.

What a typical day looks like:
