Job summary

H&M is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure smooth operation of the site portfolio through optimized facility services, lifecycle planning, and energy efficiency. You will oversee maintenance, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to support asset performance across all sites.

The role is hybrid and based in the Mexico Support Office, reporting to Expansion Manager. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in facility management, strong budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Facility Management and Project Management certifications meriting.
• Strong supplier and contract management skills essential.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management, construction, and/or real estate.
• Proven experience in activity-based budgeting and operational planning.
• Experience in energy management is meriting.
• Background in the retail industry and experience within a large international organization are meriting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full FM scope including Energy & Utilities, Cleaning, Waste & Pest Management, Technical installations, General Building Maintenance, and Shopfitting maintenance.
• Act as FM Category Manager, defining strategy, standards, and driving cost and quality optimization across portfolio.
• Lead or co-lead sourcing and procurement of Facility Service Providers; ensure contractual compliance and high-quality service.
• Monitor portfolio condition, plan actions to optimize asset lifetime and lifecycle performance.
• Ensure facility plans are created, maintained, and balance scheduled vs reactive work; manage budgets and cost vs quality.
