Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Mexico to lead a production sector, ensure schedules, quality, and safety, and drive continuous improvement. You will manage a team of over 30, align resources, and implement standardized work with coaching and training initiatives.

The role requires experience with fabrication processes, ERP systems like SAP, and strong English skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in related fields.
• 2+ years experience as a manufacturing supervisor.
• Leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Mandatory: experience with direct reports, leading a team of 30+ people.
• Mandatory: experience with fabrication processes (punching, bending, welding, painting).
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing (5S, 8D, Kaizen).
• Experience managing payroll administration systems (incidents, attendance, overtime).
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Intermediate-Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules and report incidents and near misses.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and defined processes for required quality.
• Act as legal supervisor in case of accident.
• Participate in load/resource balance with the manufacturing manager.
• Ensure achievement of production schedules in terms of cost, quality, lead time.
• Leads the production sector through team animation.
• Align resources with needs; elaborate training plans for standardized work.
• Lead short interval management at sector level; escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
• Adjust manufacturing programs according to customer priorities in ad-hoc systems.
• Organize training needs and manage team versatility.
• Contribute to industrial process improvements with support functions.
• Participate in investment proposals and plant-level projects.
