ALLNEX, a global coatings company, is seeking an Export Specialist in Guadalajara, Mexico. You will coordinate export shipments from U.S. manufacturing sites to customers worldwide, collaborating with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal partners to ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.

Formación

• 1–3 years in export operations or logistics
• Experience with freight forwarders and international shipping
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder management
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Experience with SAP ERP preferred

The Export Specialist supports the execution of export shipments from U.S. manufacturing sites to customers across Asia, Australia, Africa, and other global markets. This role works closely with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal partners to coordinate export activities, support on-time delivery, and help maintain a high level of customer service throughout the shipping process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute export shipments when products are ready for delivery.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, distribution centers, carriers, Customer Service, Planning, and Logistics teams to support smooth export operations.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and logistics partners, helping address shipment-related questions and supporting a positive customer experience.
• Help optimize shipping costs by consolidating shipments whenever possible while meeting delivery and transit time requirements.
• Resolve customer service-related corrective action requests (CCIR / SCAR) in SAP.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions related to export operations.
• Maintain required records, files, and reports, and support compliance with applicable regulations and training requirements, including IATA, DOT, and IMDG.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Required skills and experience

• 1-3 years of experience in export operations, logistics, transportation, customer service, or other supply chain-related activities.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and/or customers in an international shipping environment.
• Strong customer focus and ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal). As this role supports U.S.-based operations and works closely with stakeholders across North America.
• Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve day-to-day transportation and shipment-related issues.
• Positive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Dangerous Goods certification (IATA, IMDG, DOT, or similar) is a plus.
