Flowserve is seeking an Expense Audit Accountant to review employee expense reports and corporate card transactions, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance. You will monitor T&E activity, identify irregularities, and support process improvements.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data integrity, and adherence to internal controls during month-end close, with opportunities to train teammates and contribute to projects.

Formación

• 3-5 years’ work experience preferably in multi-national company accounting or auditing platform.
• English language skills (verbal and written) required; additional languages a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
• LEAN Six Sigma is a plus; continuous improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Review, validate, and ensure accuracy of expense reports and P-card transactions.
• Communicate policy exceptions clearly and timely to impacted employees.
• Identify data inconsistencies and escalate for resolution with follow-up.
• Handle traveler and employee inquiries per Flowserve SLAs.
• Support month-end close activities and understand the close process.
• Ensure correct ledger coding with necessary information for processing.
• Maintain strong relationships with employees and stakeholders to ensure service levels.
• Review payment runs for data accuracy.
• Train and mentor other team members.
• Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, GAAP, SOX and local laws.
• Create and update desktop procedure documentation.
• Lead or participate in projects and lead calls/meetings.
• Provide daily task/status reports to supervisor.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
