Job summary

General Motors de México is offering a Business Planner Intern role to support the Managing Director and the Mexico Executive Committee. You will coordinate meetings, travel, events and cross-functional projects while leveraging AI and digital tools to improve efficiency.

You will interact with leaders across functions, plants, dealers and regional/global counterparts, gaining end-to-end exposure to GM's business while developing analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final stages of a bachelor’s degree; expected graduation Dec 2027 or Jul 2028.
• Fields: Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Economics, Marketing, or related.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and applying it to projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the General Director's agenda, meetings, guests and visits.
• Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel; itineraries and logistics.
• Support executive events and leadership forums; agendas, participants, catering and vendor coordination.
• Prepare and track expense reports, purchase requisitions and orders in GM systems.
• Draft and send professional communications in Spanish and English to executives and teams.
• Keep executive directories, organization charts, and trackers up to date.
• Support cross-functional projects; prepare presentations and summaries.
• Build and improve team tools, dashboards and automations using data and AI.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
